Know what to do during a critical emergency event of a weather disaster.  GEORGIA experiences Tornados, Power Outages, and Floods. Events that could happen quickly.

Feel confident that you have a plan to protect your students, your children, and yourself during an untimely crisis of an active shooter.

Know exactly who to contact for someone who is not authorized to be on campus. Have a plan on how to approach or de-escalate a situation.

Know how to document incidents thoroughly. Develop proper policy, have witnesses, respect privacy and confidentiality, and have procedures in place to protect everyone involved.

Make sure the personnel are not a "wolf in sheep's clothing". In today's time it's more common for a child to be hurt by someone they know than a stranger. Thoroughly investigate the staff that is around children and put into positions control.
